Aging and Brain Health

If you notice memory or thinking changes in yourself, or to help others, please contact us and consider these programs:
  • The Alzheimer’s Prevention Registry brings together leading researchers and people like you who are interested in taking part in promising new Alzheimer’s studies. The focus is on helping scientists advance our knowledge of Alzheimer’s and sharing reliable information about the disease and its prevention with the public. Sign up with the program registry to learn more.

MindCrowd is the first online research project of its kind to study millions of individuals with the goal of helping us discover how to reduce cognitive decline and disease as we age. This is not a diagnostic test, but rather a quick quiz to help you discover how your brain performs compared with others like you.

The large number of diverse participants from various ages and backgrounds makes MindCrowd one of the most important studies across the aging spectrum. As more people participate, researchers will keep seeing the knowledge needed to optimize cognitive performance throughout the human lifespan.

The Precision Aging® Network (PAN) brings together a nationwide team of scientists and community partners who are focused on sustaining healthy minds for life. PAN takes a novel approach by creating a framework for precision medicine that can predict individual brain health risks and discover personalized solutions.

We seek your help to answer critical questions:

  • What impacts healthy brain function as we age?
  • How can we achieve optimal brain function across our entire lives?
  • How can we predict, prevent, or slow unwanted changes in brain health?

This video peers through the eyes of three TGen faculty who, as part of their efforts with the Arizona ADRC, are helping shape the future of precision medicine.
